The key to making money, is creating a specific product to address the needs of a targeted market. Of course, this sounds like a tall task. However, I am fairly certain that it is not as difficult as you think. The key is to avoid the illusion that you are attempting to become Bill Gates or Thomas Edison. Instead, operate within your means. Do a search around you house and find items which you simply cannot do without. One of the ways to make money is by finding a way to make these products better than they currently are. <br/><br/>In order for a product to be successful, it must solve a problem for a market which has a problem to solve. Do not worry, you will not have to come up with anything new. If you do not believe me, just think of all of the similar products which exist today. They are essentially just different versions of the same thing. Perhaps a buyer is attracted to one product over the other because of its reputation for quality. Another buyer might be attracted to a similar product because of a slight variation which was the selling point for them. Either way, a need is being addressed. In fact, more than likely a need and then a sub-need are being addressed. <br/><br/>A great way to start, is by thinking of your day-to-day activities. What are the problems which you encounter on a day-to-day basis. They do not have to be major problems. It can be something as simple as forgetting to take your vitamins each day. Once you make a list of problems, think of what products the market currently provides to fix these problems. If you come up with a problem which does not have a corresponding solution, you might be on to something. While a product may already exist to address this problem, chances are that this product is not being marketed very well, otherwise you would have heard of it. Brainstorming is one of the crucial activities when it comes to determining ways to make money. <br/><br/>If you have come up with a decent sized list, this is a good thing. The reason why I say this, is because at this stage you are going to compress this list. You will eliminate ideas with are either expensive or complicated. At this point, your list of possibilities is going to get more realistic. <br/><br/>Once you have come up with the product development direction which you are going to take, do not focus too much on the fact that there may currently be something similar on the market. Remember, if you have not heard of such a product, chances are that other have not heard of it either. Much of your success will come from not over-analyzing things, but rather planning and taking action. <br/><br/>As you can see, not everything needs to be perfect when looking for ways to make money via product creation. The fundamental steps are brainstorming, planning, and taking action. Do not think about what you are missing, or what could go wrong. If you do this, you will go nowhere. Just release your product, and include any improvements that you may think of in an upgrade or new version. Do you have doubts that this will work? If so, look at what the Apple iPhone has done. Not only did they enter the Smart Phone market very late, this market was quite busy. However, they found a way to improve on what already existed. Moreover, they find a way to improve on themselves each year.
